Art making is a wish to access an inaccesible space, a yearning to habitate it. A space within the studio, a space within myself. A space within the canvas. Art praxis is an excavation. Dis/covering. Dis/concealing. The art work carries traces of the disclosure and invites the viewer to share a ritual space. The disclosed space is thus made sacred, and at the same time, is being recognized as known, as familiar. We can all become the prodigious child.

Down the rabbit hole of memory tunnel, to ancient past, here is a trail that goes back to the future, a path hovered by flapping angel wings.
