An interior Landschaft becomes a natural exterior landschaft, sort of a Map. The relationship between these landscapes, canvas, pencil, trace and stain, having to visit different parts of the Terrain. As if lost in a jungle, when totally absorbed in the terrain and can only see the very near environment, and find a way, and then sometimes sit back and look at the whole map and its inner connections, almost like synapsis. the balance, the way it hovers, its layers, its tonality.

A slow process of quick painting, drawing, tracing followed and precede by hours of pondering. all day, every day, but it is a blessing, the worst days being those when nothing comes out.
